Private Site Messages
Contact messages can address a broken internal link, an apparent factual correction to the reference text, or a general question about where an official source is listed. Do not send sensitive personal information, a booking-photo request, legal documents, or an urgent custody question through a private-site message. This service cannot act as a county office, relay a request to law enforcement, or obtain a response from a public custodian.
CCNO Booking and Custody Records
The Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio is Fulton’s regional booking and detention source. Use its current search and recent report links first when the question concerns a possible jail booking. For an older record, photo, release or transfer entry, ask CCNO for its current public-record request method. Its checked public request interface was unstable, so phone confirmation is appropriate.
Include the full name, booking number when known, booking date or date range, arresting agency, and the exact existing item sought. The regional jail may hold the booking image while a city department or the sheriff holds the incident report.
Fulton County Sheriff and Records
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is the county law-enforcement contact, but the reviewed sheriff page did not publish a separate booking-photo records number, fee, or response deadline. Call the main line and ask whether the sheriff, CCNO, or another agency is the custodian of the requested item. Fulton County’s public-records page also explains that a focused request speeds routing and that review or redaction can affect timing.
For historical county records, the Microfilm Center is an additional route: 152 South Fulton Street, Suite 55, Wauseon, OH 43567. Its posted weekday hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The page shows both (419) 337-9262 and (419) 337-9234, so confirm the correct records line before calling.
Police and Court Contacts
Use the arresting agency for an incident report and the court for a case result. Wauseon Police is at 230 Clinton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567, telephone (419) 335-3821. Archbold Police is at 405 East Lutz Road, Archbold, OH 43502, telephone (419) 445-9991. Swanton’s checked pages conflict about a temporary police location and phone, so call the current village contact before visiting. Swanton’s published $5 amount applies to a police report copy, not a CCNO booking photo.
Western District Court at 224 South Fulton Street, Wauseon, OH 43567, telephone (419) 337-9212, handles the western misdemeanor and traffic route. Eastern District Court at 204 South Main Street, Swanton, OH 43558, telephone (419) 826-5636, serves the east-side route. Common Pleas record links are available through the county’s Records Search page. Court and jail records describe different stages of an event.
Where to Direct a Question
Choose the custodian that matches the record rather than sending the same request everywhere. A narrow request helps each office locate existing material and avoids asking one agency to answer for another.
- Current regional jail custody or a recent booking: CCNO search, report, or main line.
- Booking photograph or jail release record: CCNO public-record request path.
- Police incident or arrest report: the arresting sheriff or city police agency.
- Arraignment, plea, dismissal, sentence, or other case outcome: the relevant court clerk.
- State-prison or supervision record: Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction offender search.
For an emergency or immediate safety issue, call 911. For a personal warrant concern, contact the court and qualified legal counsel. Do not contact a private reference service expecting real-time government action.
